OUR HISTORY
Our history goes back to 1951 with the preparation and
combing of textile fibres. In 1963, the EGARFIL group was born with
the building of a spinning plant. Since then, we are dedicated to the production
of worsted spun yarns in pure wool and wool blends.
WOOL:
A PERFOMANCE NATURAL FIBRE
Wool offers a great variety of inherent natural properties that cannot be found in other fibres. Wool is a technical fibre itself and its complex structure gives it a great number of unique properties.
TREATMENTS AND APPLICATIONS
As a specialist for long staple spinning, we can offer a wide range of high quality yarns for most industrial textile applications.
PRODUCTION
At HILADOS EGARFIL, we are specialized in the production of bespoke yarns according to customer’s specifications. We work together with our customers to create the highest quality and suitable yarns for their particular products.

SA HILADOS EGARFIL has been awarded funding under the IT Green – Climate Change – ProACCIÓ Green technological innovation programme (2025 call) to carry out the following project:
ROVING-TI: INNOVATIVE SUSTAINABLE SPINNING TECHNOLOGY
The overall objective of this project is to optimise the roving-frame process through the application of advanced digital technologies. The project aims to improve product quality, efficiency and productivity. It will also have a significant impact on reducing CO₂ emissions by lowering the energy consumption of the equipment, using raw materials more efficiently and reducing production waste.
